UV shielding polyester yarn

Zhejiang Jinxia produces nano-zinc oxide polyester yarn. As a new multifunctional

inorganic material, nano-zinc oxide can be used as ultraviolet light shielding material,

antibacterial agent, fluorescent material, photocatalytic material, etc. in the textile

field. The multifunctionality of nano-zinc oxide will shine in the field of ecological

textiles. The modified polyester yarn of nano-zinc oxide and polyester-polyester

copolymerization and spinning has been verified by many experiments to have

reliable spinnability and high yarn grade rate.

The dyeing performance of nano-zinc oxide modified polyester and the antibacterial

and shading performance of the dyeing is almost no attenuation. Studies have shown

that the nano-modified polyester yarn is dyed at a pH of 6,120 ℃ for 60 minutes

under normal dyeing conditions, and it is against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.

The antibacterial performance is excellent. And under this condition, the related

properties such as K/S value and color fastness are also good.

In addition, nano-zinc oxide can also be melt-spun with polyester chips and disperse

dyes. The colored zinc oxide polyester yarn can be spun directly through the principle

of dope coloring, and it also has the effects of ultraviolet shielding, antibacterial and

deodorizing.
