Citrus aurantium extract is the dried young fruit of Citrus aurantium L. and its cultivar or sweet orange Citrus sinensis Osbeck. The flesh sac has 7 to 12 petals, a few to 15 petals, the juice sac is dried and contracted to brown to tan, and contains seeds. The air is fragrant, bitter and slightly sour.
